UX Designer — Mobile & Web Esdiac Telecommunications | Lagos, Nigeria 3-Month Contract (with potential for full-time)

Role Overview

We are looking for a UX Designer specializing in mobile and web experiences to join our Lagos team for a 3-month onsite contract. You will help design intuitive and engaging user experiences across our mobile applications and web platforms, working closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to transform complex ideas into simple and elegant user journeys. This contract has the potential to convert into a full-time position based on performance and company needs.

Responsibilities

Design & Execution

• Design intuitive and user-centered experiences for mobile applications and web platforms
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Ensure design consistency across all Esdiac products
• Translate product requirements into clear UX solutions
• Improve the usability of key product areas such as checkout, onboarding, payments, and account management

Research & Validation

• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
• Identify pain points and opportunities across the user journey

Collaboration

• Work closely with product managers and engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences
• Participate in design reviews and product brainstorming sessions

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in UX/UI design for mobile and web applications
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work
• Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles
• Experience designing mobile-first experiences
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment
• Based in or able to work onsite in Lagos, Nigeria
• Available to start immediately

Nice to Have

• Experience designing fintech, telecom, or marketplace products
• Experience working with design systems
• Familiarity with mobile platform guidelines (iOS and Android)
